The handsets
Every handset, on its sale.
- Sell a handset and its IMEI is written to that sale, one per unit. Scan or type it — a wedge scanner or the keyboard.
- Try to sell that IMEI again and the till refuses, and names the sale it already went out on.
- Type any IMEI you have sold and it tells you which sale that was.

Every movement is written down and kept. A mistake is corrected with a new line, in the open — never erased. Months from now, you can still see exactly what happened, and when.

One thing does not work offline, and that is on purpose.
A sale carrying an IMEI cannot be made without signal. The till will not write a handset record it cannot first check against every IMEI you have already sold, so it asks you to ring that sale again once you are back online. We would rather stop than write a record we cannot stand behind.
Everything else waits quietly, and lands in the order you sold it.

Can I print receipts or invoices?
No. Receipts go over WhatsApp from your phone, into the same chat your customer already uses. There is no paper in this system at all.

Does it work with no internet?
Ordinary sales, yes. They save on the phone and replay to your books when the signal returns, and a sale that replays twice is still one sale. A sale carrying an IMEI is the exception, and that is deliberate: the till will not write a handset record it cannot first check against every IMEI you have already sold. It asks you to ring that one again once you are back online.
Can it track a phone from the container to the customer?
No. Nothing in the system sees a handset arrive. The IMEI is written down at the moment you sell it, and that is the whole of it — you can look up any IMEI you have sold and find the sale it left on.
Do you take a cut of my sales?
No. Nothing comes off the top of a sale.
Will it stop a cashier selling below cost?
No. It shows a warning at the till and lets the sale through, with the name of whoever applied the discount on the record. Sometimes a shop genuinely needs to sell below cost, and the person at the counter should not have to argue about it. The record settles it afterwards.
What happens to my old records?
We bring them in from a file. The preview checks the whole list against your catalogue first, and if anything is wrong nothing at all is written — you fix the file and run it again.
